Famalao’an Wellness Center (FWC) was created in 2024 by Dr. Mariana Cook-Huynh and Dr. Kelli Jarrett in response to the significant need for comprehensive women’s healthcare and obstetric services on the island of Guam. Both were formerly physicians at SaguaMPG, a long-standing OB and Family Medicine clinic. When the clinic was anticipated to close, they decided to open their own practice in order to continue providing this essential care.

FWC is focused on helping women have healthy pregnancies, and we provide comprehensive obstetric care for all women. We also provide contraceptive services and a broad array of women’s health care and gynecologic services, including but not limited to: management of abnormal bleeding including post-menopausal bleeding, management of abnormal Pap smears (colposcopy and LEEP procedures), contraception including IUDs, Nexplanon, tubal ligations and vasectomies, well-woman exams, peri-menopausal and menopausal symptom management, diagnosis and management of uterine and pelvic-organ prolapse, and more. We accept referrals from primary care providers for these women’s health issues, as well as self-referrals for patients with concerns.

At this time, because of the need specifically for obstetrics and women’s health care on Guam, we are not accepting new primary care patients, but are accepting patients for specific gynecology concerns.
